Exhibition of documents and propaganda about sea and islands for students at Naval Region 3

The exhibition was held at Da Nang College of Commerce with the participation of more than 300 officials, lecturers, students, and youth union members from the University of Physical Education and Sports, Da Nang College of Commerce, and Da Nang College of Economics and Planning.

Attending the opening ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Chu Quang Vinh, Head of Political Affairs of Brigade 172, Region 3 of the Navy; Dr. Nguyen Tri Vu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the College of Commerce; representatives from the Da Nang City Youth Union; and the Hoang Sa Exhibition House.

A speaker from the Naval Region 3 provided information on the maritime and island situation to students and youth union members.

At the opening ceremony, delegates were introduced to and toured an exhibition of photographs on the legal basis and historical foundations of Vietnam's Hoang Sa archipelago; and images of the struggle to protect maritime sovereignty by maritime forces.

Also at the opening ceremony, the speaker from the 3rd Naval Region provided information on the current situation in the East Sea; the results of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands by the Vietnam People's Navy; and the views and policies of the Party and State on protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands and resolving disputes at sea.

The delegates listened to a presentation about maritime sovereignty.

This is an important activity that contributes to raising awareness about the sea and islands, as well as building consciousness and responsibility among students and youth union members regarding the task of protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands in the new situation. The photo exhibition will take place from September 16th to September 21st.
