Exhibition of documents and propaganda about sea and islands for students at Naval Region 3

The exhibition was held at Danang College of Commerce with the participation of more than 300 officers, lecturers, students, union members and youth of the University of Physical Education and Sports, College of Commerce and College of Economics and Planning of Danang.

Attending the opening ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Chu Quang Vinh, Political Commissar of Brigade 172, Naval Region 3; Dr. Nguyen Tri Vu, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Council of the College of Commerce, representatives of the Da Nang City Youth Union, and Hoang Sa Exhibition House.

Naval Region 3 reporter informs students and youth union members about the situation on the sea and islands.

At the opening ceremony, delegates were introduced to and visited a photo exhibition on the legal basis and historical foundation of Vietnam's Hoang Sa archipelago; and images of the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands by maritime forces.

Also at the opening session, the reporter of Naval Region 3 provided information on the current situation in the East Sea; the results of the Vietnam People's Navy's protection of sea and island sovereignty; the viewpoints and policies of our Party and State in protecting sea and island sovereignty and resolving disputes at sea.

Delegates heard an introduction about sea and island sovereignty.

This is an important activity that contributes to raising awareness about the sea and islands as well as building awareness and responsibility among students and youth union members for the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the new situation. The photo exhibition takes place from September 16 to September 21.
