On December 10th, the Vietnamese sports delegation began a packed schedule at the 33rd SEA Games, focusing on events in the Olympic group of sports.

The highlight of the morning was the blue swimming lane, when a series of strong swimmers such as Nguyen Quang Thuan, Tran Hung Nguyen (200m medley), Vo Thi My Tien (200m butterfly) or the 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke athletes competed in the qualifying round, before entering the important final round at 6:00 p.m. This was a great opportunity for Vietnamese swimmers to aim for the "opening" medal of the day.

The focus of attention today is on the "green track".

In other sports, gymnastics also attracted attention with the main players: Khanh Phong, Dinh Phuong Thanh, Xuan Thien and Quynh Nam participating in the qualifying rounds of many important events.

Kayak and canoe racing continues to hope for a place in the finals when strong teams such as Vo Duy Thanh – Thanh Thao or Huong – Huong participate in the 500m qualifying round. Meanwhile, mountain biking places its hopes on Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang in the downhill event.

Overall, December 10th promises to be a "golden day" if Vietnamese athletes make good use of the opportunity in their key sports.
