Cao Thang Technical College is known as one of the prestigious schools that trains highly skilled human resources, especially in the fields of engineering, automation, etc.
Candidates admitted through the 2025 high school graduation exam score-based admission method must confirm their enrollment and pay the tuition fee for the first semester from August 25th to August 30th.
2025 also marks the first year that Cao Thang Technical College participates in the joint admissions process on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions system. Despite this, the school's cutoff scores were not at all "inferior," but rather surprised many candidates.
Specifically, the cutoff scores for admission based on high school graduation exam results range from 12 to 21.75.
Of these, the two majors with the highest admission scores are mechanical engineering technology and automotive engineering technology. Therefore, to be admitted to these "hot" majors at the university, candidates must achieve at least 7 points in each subject.
Out of a total of 18 training programs, the school has 5 programs with admission scores above 20.
Dr. Le Dinh Kha, Principal of Cao Thang Technical College, said that the school had received more than 10,000 applications through the Ministry of Education and Training's system, while the quota for this method was only about 1,000 students.

For the Automotive Engineering Technology major, Nguyen Tat Thanh University set the cutoff at 15 points, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry at 23.5 points, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - VNU-HCM at 69.49 points (on a 100-point scale).
