Candidates admitted based on high school exam scores in 2025 must confirm their enrollment and pay the first semester training fee from August 25 to August 30.

2025 is also the first year that Cao Thang Technical College participates in the general admission exam on the admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training. However, the school's standard score is not "inferior", on the contrary, it surprised many candidates.

Specifically, the admission score based on high school graduation exam scores ranges from 12 to 21.75.

Of these, the two majors with the highest standard scores are mechanical engineering technology and automotive engineering technology. Thus, if candidates want to be admitted to the school's "hot" majors, they must score at least 7 points in each subject.

Of the total 18 training majors, the school has 5 majors with a benchmark score above 20.

Dr. Le Dinh Kha, Principal of Cao Thang Technical College, said that the school has received more than 10,000 registrations on the Ministry of Education and Training's system, while the quota for this method is only about 1,000 students.

In the field of automotive engineering technology, Nguyen Tat Thanh University took 15 points, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry took 23.5 points, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - Vietnam National University took 69.49 points (on a scale of 100).
