Although the School of Technology is newly established, it is built on the foundation of three training units that are strongly attracting students: Institute of Information Technology and Digital Economics, Faculty of Economic Mathematics and Faculty of Statistics.
In which, the Faculty of Economic Mathematics and the Faculty of Statistics are both traditional training faculties, formed and developed along with the school's long history, with many successful alumni.
The school focuses on research and training in the fields of technology development and application in management and business administration. Priority areas will include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and big data.
Professor Chuong said that in fact, the National Economics University has long desired and determined its orientation to develop into a university. To do this, the university has built and issued a development strategy for the period 2021 - 2030, which clearly defines the roadmap towards university.
In the immediate future, the school's goal is to become the highest ranked university in the region and internationally. "The school's priority is to focus on quality and training programs. Regarding the long-term plan in the next 5-10 years, the school strives for students of the National Economics University to be fully equipped with knowledge and skills upon graduation, and at the same time have the necessary fortitude to respond to changes in the current environment," said Professor Pham Hong Chuong.
