Sharing her feelings when coming to Seitoku University, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Thi Lam, head of the preschool education department at Hanoi National University of Education, said she was very surprised and admired Seitoku University for its solid education and steadfast goal of educating children in character, without being pressured by the development of science and technology.
"This helps each child enjoy a peaceful, happy childhood, connected with nature and full of art," Ms. Lam said.
Ms. Lam commented: after a period of cooperation and research, the training content from Seitoku University can be applied to the preschool teacher training program of Hanoi National University of Education, such as teaching methods for subjects in the program, including focusing on practical content and building subject learning profiles.
In addition, with the content of training pedagogical skills for students, Hanoi National University of Education can supplement more abundant activities of the pedagogical training week such as: childcare skills, skills in organizing literary and artistic activities: reading poetry, telling stories, using music, fine arts, etc.
In addition, improvements can be implemented to the process of organizing practical training and internships for students, such as developing a more scientific and effective handbook for student practical training and internships.
"In particular, Hanoi National University of Education and Seitoku University can deploy and develop a number of topics, such as art education (especially the fine arts section in the training program), can organize outdoor activities, creative games, connect between kindergartens and primary schools...
Regarding inclusive education for children with disabilities, Seitoku University has strengths in music education for children with disabilities. This will be a very practical topic for early childhood education in Vietnam in general, and special education in Vietnam in particular," Ms. Lam said.
