The People's Committee of Cau Giay District has decided to allow the establishment of the Hanoi University of Education Gifted Secondary School, becoming the 5th public school under the Hanoi University of Education.

Accordingly, the University of Education Gifted Secondary School was established on February 28, the school's English name is HNUE Elite Middle School, abbreviated as HEMS. Headquartered at 136 Xuan Thuy, Dich Vong Hau Ward (Cau Giay District, Hanoi).

According to the decision of the People's Committee of Cau Giay District, the University of Education Gifted Secondary School is a public educational and training institution in the national education system and in the system of general schools of Cau Giay District; has legal status, uses its own seal and opens an account at the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of law.

The school is under the direct and comprehensive management of Hanoi National University of Education, under the professional guidance of the District Department of Education and Training, and under the state management in the area of ​​the People's Committee of Cau Giay District.

Thus, currently Hanoi National University of Education has 5 affiliated public schools, including Blue Lotus Kindergarten, Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School, Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School, Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted, Hanoi National University of Education Gifted Secondary School.
