On June 21 and 22, the Information Officer School organized the 2023 Good Vehicle Maintenance and Safe Driving Contest. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thai Binh , Head of the Motorcycle Department, Technical Department, Information Corps attended and directed the contest.
The contestants were 22 drivers of the School. These drivers had been tested and trained in theory and skills by the unit before participating in the contest.

During the exam, candidates must go through 2 parts with 4 contents: Good vehicle maintenance test (industry discipline, level 1 car maintenance content); safe driving test (theoretical test on the 2008 Road Traffic Law with standards according to Circular 91 of the Ministry of Transport , Circular 170 of the Ministry of National Defense; practical driving test on a route with limited dimensions).

The Organizing Committee has done a good job of preparing and organizing the contest closely, seriously, and according to plan. In addition, the Jury also evaluated the results accurately, objectively, and substantially; the contestants participating in the contest performed correctly and fully according to the regulations, made efforts, and were determined to achieve the highest results, ensuring efficiency, savings, and absolute safety for people and weapons.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 groups and 6 individuals with high achievements in the competition. The results of the competition also served as a basis for unification in the organization of technical work on vehicles and motorcycles, meeting the requirements of training tasks, combat readiness, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive school "Exemplary model".
