Authorities are investigating the driver who set off firecrackers and threw them onto the street in District 1.

On August 20th, the District 1 Police, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, investigated and pursued the driver who set off firecrackers and threw them onto the road, causing a public outcry.

Earlier, on the evening of August 19th, a video clip showed a young man wearing a white T-shirt and a black baseball cap using a lighter to light firecrackers and throw them onto the street.

About 5 seconds later, the firework exploded with a loud bang. The event was recorded by a passenger in the car.

Young men were driving their cars while setting off firecrackers and throwing them onto the road.

Upon verification, the incident took place on Ton Duc Thang Street (Ben Nghe Ward, District 1). The police are currently urgently investigating and searching for the young man to handle the case according to regulations.
