On the morning of August 9th, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ha Tinh province held a ceremony to launch the "Digital Literacy Movement" linked with "Digital Learning" and training on raising awareness and capacity for applying artificial intelligence (AI) for officials and employees throughout the sector.

Launching the "Digital Literacy Movement" linked with "Digital Learning," the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ha Tinh province affirmed that the agriculture and environment sector is a multi-sectoral management sector, directly linked to the production, livelihoods, and living environment of the people.
Therefore, the implementation of the "Digital Literacy Movement" is an opportunity for every official, civil servant, employee, and worker to access knowledge and master technology; thereby improving efficiency in handling work, enhancing the quality of advice, management, and service to the people and businesses even better.

Every official and public employee needs to proactively familiarize themselves with and become proficient in using digital platforms. It is necessary to promote and guide people in using digital learning platforms such as: Digital Education Platform, MobiEdu, OneTouch… to access knowledge on smart agriculture , sustainable farming techniques, waste treatment processes, forest protection, water resource protection, and to carry out electronic administrative procedures.
Encourage collectives and individuals in the industry to actively propose initiatives and apply learning models linked to practical digital transformation, environmental protection, and sustainable agricultural development. Connect the "Digital Literacy for the People" and "Digital Learning" movements with enhancing the digital capabilities of officials, civil servants, and employees throughout the industry.
At the conference, delegates also heard presentations from representatives of the Vietnam AI Technology Academy on topics related to raising awareness and capacity for applying artificial intelligence (AI), such as: the history of AI formation and development; using AI effectively and safely; and communication and exchange on AI in relation to local socio -economic development.

Experts from the Vietnam AI Technology Academy also provided guidance on installing GENAI applications; an effective roadmap for deploying AI in the workplace; efficient data exploitation through artificial intelligence; and further discussed ethical issues and social responsibility in the use of AI...
