Many meaningful works and projects
In all areas of Quang Ninh , from urban to rural areas, mountainous areas, and islands, the green shirts of young volunteers are always present, igniting the spirit of shock and spreading practical actions for the community. One example is the social security support activity of building "Houses of Love" for disadvantaged households.
Typically, in Quang Duc and Quang Ha communes, in August 2025, the Provincial Youth Union organized the installation of signs for two "Houses of Charity" projects. The two projects were awarded at the launch program of the "Youth Volunteer Summer 2025" campaign with a total support fund of 160 million VND for the family of Ms. Pham Thi Ha (Quang Duc commune) and the family of Ms. Tang Tai Mui (Quang Ha commune), which are young workers in difficult circumstances. After 2 months of construction with the participation of authorities at all levels, along with the local Youth Union, the two houses were completed and put into use.
From March to October 2025, the Provincial Youth Union mobilized organizations, individuals, businesses and communities to contribute and support the construction of 8 "Charity Houses". Each house received an average of 50-80 million VND in support, with a total implementation cost of up to 470 million VND. The new houses not only provide a warm and safe living space for households, but are also a vivid demonstration of the spirit of mutual love, demonstrating the responsibility and affection of Quang Ninh youth towards the community.
In the period of 2022-2025, the entire Union has undertaken and implemented over 8,500 youth projects and tasks, attracting more than 70,000 youth union members to participate, with a total estimated benefit value to society of over 60 billion VND. Notably, the entire Union has carried out 285 projects and tasks to build advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas with a total cost of over 1.5 billion VND; established 171 teams with more than 5,000 youth union members to participate in relief, giving over 4,000 gifts to families affected by storm No. 3 in 2024; organized 265 free medical examinations and medicine distribution sessions for more than 21,000 people; 168 voluntary blood donation sessions, collecting 32,250 units of blood; supported the construction and repair of 40 "Charity Houses", "Red Scarf" houses, etc.
The entire Union also mobilized resources of nearly 5 billion VND to support and sponsor 4,629 students in difficult circumstances; provided job counseling and referrals to 108,130 students and youth union members in need of employment; and organized 452 social practice skills education activities for 32,569 youth union members.
Towards sustainable values
Not only stopping at direct support activities, the youth volunteer movement of Quang Ninh youth is gradually moving towards long-term and sustainable values for the community. Through the implementation of projects and tasks related to the actual needs of the people, the youth of the whole province have contributed to improving the living conditions of the people, creating a stable development foundation for many localities in the province. Charitable houses, livelihood models, activities to build new rural areas, or health care programs, voluntary blood donation... not only bring material value, but also spread sharing, the spirit of mutual love - an important factor in helping to build a cohesive, humane and developed community.
In parallel, the Youth Union of the whole province has also strongly implemented activities to improve knowledge and digital skills for the people. Most recently, the "Digital Education for All" movement has received enthusiastic response. The whole Union established and launched 55 "Digital Education for All" teams with the participation of 5,200 Youth Union members; organized 420 "Digital Education for All" classes and 540 activities to popularize digital skills for more than 28,000 people and children. At the same time, the Youth Union at all levels also established and maintained youth volunteer teams in 100% of communes, wards and special zones, supported the implementation of 158,000 level 3 and 4 public service records; guided and built a 4.0 cashless market model and supported the installation and creation of electronic payment accounts. This activity not only helps people quickly access technology, but also contributes to improving digital knowledge and skills, towards a civilized and modern digital society.
Accompanying young people in studying, starting a business, establishing a career and developing life skills also creates conditions for young people to promote their capacity and confidently contribute to society. Since then, many young union members have proposed many initiatives, improvements, and applications of science and technology, contributing to saving raw materials, improving productivity, quality and product value. Many high-tech agricultural models, economic development and tourism have been effectively implemented. These efforts have formed a generation of Quang Ninh youth who are rich in knowledge, compassionate and responsible to the community.
Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Phuong Thao said: Volunteer activities not only bring practical benefits to the community, but also train skills, enhance responsibility and dedication of each youth union member. We hope that the movement will continue to spread strongly, mobilize many resources, aim for sustainable values, and contribute to building Quang Ninh to be more and more prosperous and civilized.
