Propaganda for cultural heritage conservation in mountainous communes of Thai Nguyen is promoted.

(CLO) In the first 10 months of 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province has synchronously deployed many key tasks to implement the National Target Program (NTP) on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Right from the beginning of the year, the Department of Staff of the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to strengthen the Steering Committee of the National Target Program, assigning department leaders to be in charge of each field, helping to ensure unified and consistent management.

The contents of preserving traditional culture, promoting heritage and promoting tourism are effectively integrated, creating a spread in the community.

Based on the Central Government's guidance documents, the Department has developed a plan to implement Project 6, setting out specific tasks for each department and unit. Propaganda work continues to be identified as one of the key tasks, implemented in many forms: conferences, training, internal newsletters, propaganda articles on the Electronic Information Portal, grassroots media systems and cultural and artistic activities.

Propaganda materials on community tourism and traditional culture are widely disseminated to ethnic minority localities.

According to the report, tasks such as propagating policies, strengthening the cultural institution system, training to improve community capacity, or organizing cultural and sports activities at the grassroots level are all implemented according to plan. The Department also closely coordinates with localities to guide the implementation of projects, especially community tourism models and traditional village preservation.

Evaluating this result, Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the initiative in directing and operating has created an important foundation for implementation activities at the grassroots level: "When the steering apparatus is complete and each unit clearly understands its tasks, the program will operate smoothly. Good propaganda helps people understand, accompany and participate in the process of preserving culture and developing tourism, in line with the spirit of the National Target Program".

Mr. Ngoc also emphasized that the spirit of coordination between the Department and localities is decisive for the effectiveness of implementation: "The National Target Program has a wide scope, involving many departments and offices at the district level. The initiative and unity from the province to the grassroots level help activities to be deployed on schedule, promptly removing obstacles."

By the end of October, the Department had fully implemented planned activities, preparing the basis to accelerate the workload in the last two months of the year, aiming at the goal of preserving cultural heritage associated with sustainable tourism development in ethnic minority areas.
