Vietnam U16 women's team won the final match at the UEFA international friendly tournament

Vietnam's U16 women's team won a penalty shootout against Wales' U16 women's team, thereby ending their journey at the international friendly tournament organized by UEFA with 5th place overall.

Vietnam U16 women's team finished the international friendly tournament in Türkiye in 5th place overall.

Vietnam U16 women's team met Wales U16 women's team in the final match of the international U16 women's football friendly tournament organized by UEFA in Türkiye. Previously, coach Akira Ijiri and his team won Botswana U16 women's team 5-0, lost to the US U16 women's team 0-8 and lost to Türkiye U16 women's team 1-3.

In the final match, Vietnam U16 women's team created many opportunities and quickly turned them into goals. In the following minutes, although Wales U16 women's team equalized 1-1, coach Akira Ijiri's students played with great effort and determination.

The match was dramatic until the final minutes and had to be decided on penalties. As a result, the U16 Vietnam women's team won 4-3 in the penalty shootout, thereby winning the final victory over the team from Wales.

In the final, the US U16 women's team won the championship after defeating the Paraguay U16 women's team.
