On the morning of April 12 (local time), the Vietnam U23 team returned to the training ground to continue preparing for the 2024 AFC U23 Championship. Despite the hot weather, the players still actively absorbed the training plan with a focus on strengthening by fitness expert Brandi Regato Neto.
Today, the players have adjusted to the time difference. Therefore, head coach Hoang Anh Tuan has increased the training frequency to two sessions, in which the morning session will focus on physical training and strength enhancement, and the training session will focus on technical and tactical training.
The weather in Qatar, although hot in the morning, is still quite pleasant with a breeze. The players were also very excited to return to the training ground after a full day of rest and recovery at the hotel. All of them had no difficulty completing the requirements of the coaching staff.
It is expected that in the coming days, U23 Vietnam will maintain 2 training sessions/day until the opening match against Kuwait (April 17).
