The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to preparations for the 2023 Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Kite Surfing Open Tournament

On December 18th, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear reports on the preparations for organizing the Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Open Kiteboarding Tournament 2023. Leaders from relevant departments, agencies, localities, and units attended the meeting.

According to the plan, the Ninh Thuan-Binh Thuan Open Kiteboarding Tournament 2023 will take place from December 22-24, 2023, at the beach area of ​​My Hoa village, Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district; competing in two categories: men's and women's individual (Twintip Race and Big Air Twintip Freestyle - Old School Trick), with a points-based ranking format. To date, more than 50 domestic and international athletes have registered to participate; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has worked with PKO Co., Ltd. to finalize preparations for the competition venues, facilities, funding, mobilization of participating athletes, and other related conditions for organizing the competition as well as the opening and closing ceremonies…; the tournament regulations have been disseminated to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province and PKO Co., Ltd. for information to kiteboarding clubs, associations, and groups within and outside the province.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Organizing Committee to continue mobilizing and compiling a list of registered athletes; inspect the venue and facilities in preparation for organizing the competition, especially ensuring the safety of participating athletes; strengthen visual decoration and promotion along the routes and areas where the competition is held; promote and publicize the event through mass media and visual promotional materials; and focus on securing sponsorship from various organizations, particularly for prize money.
