Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

At the meeting, representatives of leaders of departments and branches focused on discussing, contributing opinions and recommendations on contents related to the two draft plans approved at the meeting.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to urgently complete the plan of the Provincial People's Committee to submit and seek opinions from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to organize commemorative activities. Regarding the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) including activities such as: Promoting information and propaganda work; exhibition of achievements of An Giang province after 50 years of liberation and national reunification; organizing incense and flower offering activities at the provincial martyrs' cemetery, President Ton Duc Thang monument and Uncle Ton Memorial Site; visiting and giving gifts to policy families and meritorious people; organizing commemorative ceremonies or meetings (expected on the afternoon of April 24, at the Provincial Hall); commemorative art program and response and welcome activities...
Regarding the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), organize propaganda activities; meet all cadres, reporters, and press workers inside and outside the province, combine with commending outstanding press collectives and workers; visit and congratulate press agencies; organize cultural - artistic, physical training and sports activities; exhibit and introduce achievements of 100 years of Vietnam revolutionary press associated with the achievements of An Giang province's press; make films, documentaries on the province's press activities; seminars, talks...
Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Ho Van Mung directed departments, branches and localities to coordinate closely and proactively prepare thoughtful activities. Based on issued documents and plans, it is necessary to closely follow the tasks to complete the proposed contents and time. On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commended the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, departments and localities in the province for their careful coordination in successfully organizing the ceremony to receive the UNESCO certificate recognizing the Via Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity and opening the Via Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival in 2025 on the evening of March 19.
