Party committees and inspection committees of provinces and cities under the Department of Localities VII and the Central Inspection Committee need to focus on inspecting and resolving long-standing and newly-arising cases with public opinions and denunciations, especially those related to personnel for Party congresses at all levels.

On the afternoon of October 15, the Central Inspection Commission held a conference to review the work of inspection, supervision and party discipline in the first 9 months of 2024 in the Department of Area VII. In his concluding remarks, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Van Quyet highly appreciated the achievements of the Party committees and inspection committees at all levels in the Department of Area VII in the first 9 months of 2024. Regarding the upcoming plan, Mr. Quyet requested agencies and units to focus on inspecting and handling long-standing and newly-arising cases with public opinions and denunciations, especially those related to the personnel of Party congresses at all levels. Along with that, strictly direct the implementation of the conclusions of inspection, supervision, audit, and audit, especially the contents required by the Central Inspection Commission in the conclusion notices.
Focus on leadership and direction to overcome violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out; thoroughly handle unfinished and pending work.

Reporting at the conference, Mr. Tran Viet Ha - Head of the Department of Area VII, Central Inspection Committee - said that recently, a number of serious cases have occurred in the area under the supervision and direction of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Anti-Negative Affairs. Through these cases, many party members and officials have been criminally prosecuted for their involvement in Tien Bo Quoc Te Joint Stock Company (AIC), Van Thinh Phat Group, Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company, Saigon Dai Ninh urban area project and a number of power projects. The Central Inspection Committee also decided to inspect when there were signs of violations against the Party Executive Committee of the People's Committees of a number of provinces and cities in the Department of Area VII, then concluded, disciplined, and proposed to discipline many standing committees of city and provincial Party Committees, and Party Committees that directed, inspected and handled affiliated party organizations related to AIC Company, Thuan An and power projects. Regarding the plan for the last 3 months of the year, according to Mr. Ha, Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Committees at all levels focus on directing and completing inspections when there are signs of violations, reviewing and handling Party organizations and Party members with violations related to Thuan An Company, as directed by the Central Inspection Committee.
