Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang presents decisions on personnel work

Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Tuan Nghia was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Regional Political Academy IV from August 1, 2025, replacing Dr. Phan Cong Khanh who retired early.

On July 31, in Can Tho city, the Regional Political Academy IV held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on personnel work.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Party Secretary, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Council of Theory attended, presented the Decision and delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were leaders of Can Tho city and representatives of the Board of Directors of 5 Political Schools in the Southwest region.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Personnel Organization, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics announced the Decision of the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to transfer and appoint Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Tuan Nghia, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Director of the Institute of Political Economics, to hold the position of Director of the Academy of Politics Region IV from August 1, 2025, replacing Dr. Phan Cong Khanh who retired before the age.

At the same time, the leaders of the Organization Department announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics appointing Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Tuan Nghia to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy of Politics, Region IV, term 2025-2030.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his confidence that with the knowledge, capacity, strengths and experience accumulated over the years, both in theory and practice, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Tuan Nghia, together with the Standing Committee, the Academy's Board of Directors and the entire team of cadres, lecturers, civil servants and employees, will innovate more strongly, continue to improve the quality and results of all aspects of work, and excellently complete the tasks in the coming time.

In his acceptance speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Tuan Nghia expressed his efforts, dedication, and devotion to the Board of Directors of the Regional Political Academy IV to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
