Van Don presents Government gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2

Implementing the Prime Minister's direction in Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, today (August 30), the People's Committee of Van Don Special Economic Zone issued a Decision to supplement VND 5,390,400,000 from the targeted budget from the provincial budget in 2025 to the Department of Culture - Society to carry out the Government's gift giving to people in Van Don Special Economic Zone on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Van Don Special Zone People's Committee meets to deploy tasks.

In particular, the gift-giving level (in cash) is 100,000 VND/person. The beneficiaries are Vietnamese citizens residing in Van Don special zone, Quang Ninh province and have had their personal identification data collected, updated, and issued in the National Population Database, established by the end of August 30, 2025.

On the afternoon of August 30, the People's Committee of the special zone held a meeting to assign specific tasks to departments, agencies, working groups, and heads of villages and areas in the area to promptly pay the money to the people.

Comrade Nguyen Sinh Luong - Vice Chairman of Van Don Special Zone People's Committee directly presented gifts from the Government to people in Dai Van village.

To carry out this task within the prescribed time, the Special Zone Police urgently extracted the list of citizens in the National Population Database as of 24:00 on August 30, 2025, detailed by village and area, to serve as the basis for making a list of gifts in the form of cash transfers. The Department of Culture and Society coordinated with working groups and 72 villages and areas to directly pay gifts to each household in cash at the cultural houses of the villages and areas. Representatives of households brought their citizen identification cards as prescribed when receiving gifts.

People of Dai Van village were excited to receive gifts from the Government on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Immediately after the meeting, comrade Nguyen Sinh Luong - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Don special economic zone inspected the payment and directly presented gifts from the Government to people in Dai Van village, where mainly Dao ethnic people live and far from the center of the special economic zone.

Many people in Dai Van village came to receive money from the Government with joy and excitement at the attention of the Party and State on the occasion of the important national holiday.

Van Don is determined to complete the payment of gifts to people throughout the area by September 1, 2025.
