Stable operation of pumping stations to prevent flooding and clear drainage

DNO - Da Nang Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company said that to ensure drainage, the company has arranged staff to be on duty, control flooding points; and prepare vehicles and equipment to promptly handle important drainage locations, with the risk of local flooding in urban areas.

Areas at risk of local flooding are Hai Ho and Nui Thanh streets; Nguyen Van Linh, Ham Nghi, Le Duan, Hoang Hoa Tham, Ong Ich Khiem streets; downstream of Khe Can; Ha Huy Tap, Nguyen Trac (K5 lake area), Le Tan Trung streets...

Yen Khe 2 pumping station has been operating since the morning of September 27 to prevent flooding in residential areas.

After each rain, a lot of trash and leaves accumulate at the trash bars of the rainwater intakes on the road. The company continues to mobilize forces to clear the key locations to proactively respond to local flooding in the next rain.

Thuan Phuoc, Dao Xanh, Ong Ich Khiem, and Yen Khe 2 flood control pumping stations are operating stably according to the process. Workers are on duty to collect garbage at the automatic trash screening machine and monitor and promptly handle incidents at the pumping stations.

Workers operate to lower the water level of Thac Gian Lake and actively regulate to reduce flooding.

The company lowered the water level at the regulating lakes to the lowest level (March 29th Park Lake, Thac Gian - Vinh Trung Lake, K5 Lake...) to maximize the ability to regulate water when heavy rain occurs; arranged workers to operate the appropriate regulating sluice gates, ensuring drainage for the basin.

In addition, the Danang Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company is ready with excavators and transport vehicles to serve the work of dredging and transporting duckweed in canals to ensure drainage; and is ready with high-capacity pumps to promptly handle flooding in low-lying residential areas and localized flooding due to slow drainage.
