The first monthly competition of the fourth quarter of the 24th season of "Road to Olympia" took place this afternoon, witnessing a dramatic contest between four contestants: Nguyen Trung Kien ( Thai Binh Specialized High School, Thai Binh), Tran Son Duy (Tran Phu Specialized High School, Hai Phong), Nguyen Lam Vu (Ly Tu Trong High School, Khanh Hoa), and Hua Hoang Phuoc (Hoang Le Kha Specialized High School, Tay Ninh).

Entering the first round - the warm-up - the four contestants appeared to be evenly matched. Lam Vu gained an advantage thanks to his quick wit and intelligence, temporarily leading with 55 points. Hoang Phuoc had 50 points, Trung Kien 45 points, and Duy Son 20 points.

The keyword to find in this week's Obstacle Course challenge consists of 9 letters. The first horizontal row selected contains the question: "Every non-repeating infinite decimal is the decimal representation of a number, that number is called…?" All four contestants scored points with the correct answer "Irrational".

As soon as the first image clue was revealed, Duy Son quickly pressed the buzzer to answer the obstacle clue. With the correct answer "Square root," the student from Hai Phong took the lead with 90 points. Lam Vu had 65 points, Hoang Phuoc 60 points, and Trung Kien 55 points.

Tran Son Duy was a contestant who advanced to the monthly competition thanks to being the contestant with the second-highest score of the week.

In the Speed ​​Round, Duy Son continued his strong performance to score the most points. The other three contestants were evenly matched, each earning an additional 50 points. After four Speed ​​Round opportunities, Duy Son had 180 points, Lam Vu 115 points, Hoang Phuoc 110 points, and Trung Kien 105 points.

Entering the decisive final round - the "Finish Line" - Duy Son chose three questions worth 20, 20, and 20 points each, and selected the "Star of Hope" option on the second question. The student from Hai Phong scored points on the first two questions, finishing with 240 points. Lam Vu had the opportunity to answer the last question but failed to score any points.

Hoang Phuoc chose questions worth 20, 30, and 20 points. He answered two 20-point questions correctly, bringing his total to 150 points.

The remaining two contestants, Trung Kien and Lam Vu, were unsuccessful in their final rounds, giving Son Duy and Hoang Phuoc a chance to score more points.

In the final results, Tran Son Duy (Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong) excellently won the laurel wreath with 260 points. Hua Hoang Phuoc (Hoang Le Kha High School for the Gifted, Tay Ninh ) came in second with 140 points. Sharing third place were Nguyen Lam Vu (Ly Tu Trong High School, Khanh Hoa) with 85 points and Nguyen Trung Kien (Thai Binh High School for the Gifted, Thai Binh) with 65 points.
