Vietnam is one of 5 countries representing the continent to participate in CIIE 2023

On the morning of November 5, at the China National Exhibition Center in Shanghai, the opening ceremony of the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) took place, with the participation of many leaders of countries, including Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam Tran Hong Ha.

At this Fair, Vietnam is one of 5 countries representing the continent to participate in CIIE 2023 as an Honorary Country.

The 6th CIIE will take place from November 5-10. This is the first fair to be held entirely in person after the Covid-19 pandemic, with the same level of openness as before the pandemic. This year's fair has the theme "New Era, Towards the Future", attracting more than 150 countries and territories, international organizations to participate, with an exhibition area of over 300,000 m2, including the National Exhibition Area for participating countries and the Trade Exhibition Area.

The Vietnam National Exhibition Area has an area of 256 m2, focusing on introducing and promoting information, achievements and economic potential, promoting investment, trade and tourism of Vietnam in the following forms: broadcasting video clips on LED screens, printing promotional images, displaying documents, publications, and typical export products of branded Vietnamese enterprises in the fields of agricultural products and processed foods.

The Vietnamese enterprises' booth area has the participation of 34 enterprises with 34 booths displaying on an area of 400 m2, including specialized agricultural products and processed foods. Participating Vietnamese enterprises have good export capacity and prestigious, quality brands such as Vinamilk , TH Truemilk, Trung Nguyen coffee, Quang Ngai sugar, Vinatea, Cuu Long An Giang food, Sa Giang food ...

Vietnam's participation in CIIE not only contributes to promoting the national image in terms of economy, investment and tourism. This is also an opportunity to contribute to the completion of economic goals such as implementing the government's commitment to international economic integration; increasing official and sustainable exports to the Chinese market; promoting the brand and image of Vietnamese enterprises to China and other countries in the world to attract foreign investment, creating conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to seek markets and expand their business.

The 6th CIIE had 289 enterprises among the world's top 500 enterprises and China's leading enterprises participating, far surpassing previous fairs. Also at this fair, more than 400 new products, new technologies and new services were launched, making CIIE a major show of innovation and creativity from all countries.
