Wife dead, husband missing after fishing boat capsizes

(NLDO) - While fishing on the Red River, the boat capsized, killing the wife and leaving the husband missing.


According to initial information, the tragic incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on January 2.

At that time, Mr. P. and his wife, Mrs. N., residing in Thanh Thinh commune, Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province, went fishing on the Red River. While fishing, the boat suddenly capsized, causing both of them to drown.

Upon receiving the news, local authorities mobilized forces to the scene to search for the victim.

By the afternoon of the same day, authorities found the wife's body, but the husband was still missing.

Currently, authorities are still trying to find the remaining victims.
