VTC Online and Woongjin Thinkbig sign cooperation agreement, bringing Lingocity to Vietnam

On November 13th, VTC Online and Woongjin Thinkbig – a leading South Korean education company – signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for strategic cooperation to launch Lingocity, an English speaking learning application based on the metaverse platform and integrated with generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI), in the Vietnamese market.

VTC Online and Woongjin Thinkbig have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly implement the project to expand the English-language product "Lingocity".

Among them, Lingocity – a flagship product of Woongjin Thinkbig – offers a fun and innovative English learning experience, combining metaverse technology and AI generation.

The app allows students to embark on a journey of discovery through famous cities via engaging virtual tasks, encouraging them to use English to communicate throughout the exploration, thus naturally improving their English speaking skills and expanding their vocabulary. Using a spiral approach, Lingocity strengthens language skills while applying gamification to enhance learning motivation.

The app's vibrant design and high interactivity not only create an engaging learning environment but also inspire and motivate students to speak naturally and communicate confidently, effectively improving their foreign language skills.

The rollout of Lingocity in Vietnam will provide students with an advanced learning tool combining metaverse technology and AI, helping them develop English skills naturally and sustainably. In collaboration with Woongjin Thinkbig, VTC Online plans to launch the Vietnamese version of Lingocity in early 2025, offering a groundbreaking learning solution for Vietnamese students.
