Honoring excellent candidates who won prizes in the 2022 IOE exam

The ceremony was attended by over 1,000 guests and delegates, including Mr. Ta Ngoc Tri – Deputy Head of the Department of Primary Education , Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huu - Head of the National Foreign Language Project, Mr. Chu Tien Dat – Head of the Board of Members of VTC Corporation, representatives from the Departments/Offices of Education and Training of provinces/cities, teachers, and all the award-winning students.

Opening the ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Hoa - Director of VTC Online and Head of the IOE competition organizing committee - delivered a welcoming speech to the distinguished guests and all the students present at the program.

In his speech, the head of the organizing committee emphasized the goal of IOE's activities: " To encourage the teaching and learning of English, create motivation and learning habits, and nurture a love for English among students ."

Mr. Le Viet Hoa, Director of VTC Online, delivered the opening speech at the ceremony.

Over its 13-year journey of development, IOE has become a trusted source for English learning and practice for more than 30 million students nationwide. IOE has created a healthy learning environment, fostering students' motivation to learn English, while also developing the English learning movement in schools and creating a ripple effect among students and teachers across the country.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, IOE continued to receive significant investment in content and upgrades and optimizations to its technical infrastructure, aiming to deliver a comprehensive product that meets the learning needs of students, as well as the requirements for student assessment and evaluation across the country.

Having completed 4 official rounds, the IOE competition for the 2022-2023 school year recorded over 1.4 million student participants from more than 10,000 schools across most provinces and cities nationwide.

Specifically, the national IOE exam on April 7, 2023, was implemented for grades 4, 5, 8, 9, and 11, attracting 74,632 students from 61 provinces/cities across 508 districts/counties and 5,718 schools nationwide to participate and complete the exam.

At the awards ceremony on the morning of May 20th, the competition organizers presented certificates and gold, silver, and bronze medals to the winning contestants.
