Traffic police car overturned after collision with container truck

On June 6, information from the People's Committee of Tien Yen District ( Quang Ninh ) said that local authorities are coordinating to investigate a traffic accident involving a container truck and a patrol car of the Traffic Police force.

According to initial information, at around 9:00 a.m. on June 6, on National Highway 18 through Tien Yen District, a container truck (license plate unknown) suddenly braked while turning, coupled with the slippery road surface causing the trailer carrying the container behind to slide sideways. At this moment, a patrol car of Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Road and Railway Traffic Police Department of Quang Ninh Provincial Police) was approaching and collided.

The collision caused the traffic police patrol car to fly onto the sidewalk, flip over, and severely damage the front end.

Fortunately, people along the road came to help the traffic police officers inside the car get out. The accident did not cause any human casualties.

After the traffic accident, the leaders of Quang Ninh Provincial Police directed Tien Yen District Police to be present to protect the scene, coordinate with relevant agencies to clarify the cause of the incident; and at the same time visit the traffic police officers.

The case is being further investigated by the authorities.
