Xtep launches the first X-RUN CAMP training camp for the Standard Chartered Heritage Marathon Hanoi in Vietnam

As the strategic technology partner and exclusive apparel sponsor of Standard Chartered Heritage Marathon Hanoi, Xtep is proud to support the official launch of SCHM X-RUN CAMP, held on 19 October 2025. The training camp, co-organized by Xtep and Standard Chartered, starts at 5am at Hoang Mai Stadium.

The Standard Chartered Heritage Marathon Hanoi has established itself as one of the leading marathons in Vietnam, attracting nearly 2,000 international athletes from almost 60 countries each year. Known for its challenging course and high humidity, the race demands strategic pace control and high endurance – placing a significant responsibility on the official pace setters, who must maintain precise times under varying conditions.

This year, entering its seventh consecutive year as the official apparel sponsor of the race, Xtep was entrusted by the organizers with the responsibility of launching the first SCHM X-RUN CAMP training camp – a decision that affirms the brand's proven commitment and expertise in promoting the running ecosystem in Vietnam.

The SCHM X-RUN CAMP is specifically designed for the official pace setter team and 50 elite athletes, providing them with a comprehensive training experience. The camp equips participants with professional training programs, a simulated real-world race environment, and high-performance 160X, 260X, and 360X shoes. Through specialized training programs – including running technique exercises and a 1000-meter interval run – participants improve their pace control and energy management strategies. The intensive training program helps the pace setter team maintain consistent pace and build confidence on race day, enabling them to provide more accurate and reliable guidance to the wider running community. By combining advanced equipment and intensive training, Xtep has contributed to enhancing the capabilities of the official pace runner team, while also reinforcing the international stature of this marathon as a professionally run event.

Throughout October, Xtep Vietnam also collaborated with the XRC running community to organize three regular joint training sessions in three key areas across Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hai Phong. These sessions were integrated into XRC's regular training schedule, open to all athletes registered for the Standard Chartered Heritage Marathon Hanoi, featuring professional guidance combined with the experience of high-performance Xtep footwear, including the 160X 7.0 model. Designed to help runners build endurance, refine strategies, and achieve new personal bests, this initiative extends Xtep's professional running support beyond specialized training camps, integrating it into the regular training rhythm of the community.
