TPO - The Hanoi Department of Transport (DGT) has just issued a document requesting relevant units to clarify the situation of Vinh Tuy bridge being heavily flooded due to heavy rain (Tien Phong reported on the afternoon of May 15) and to have a solution to handle it, reporting the results before May 20.

The document signed by the leader of the Hanoi Department of Transport and sent to the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (Traffic Board - investor), Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board (Department of Transport) stated: After the heavy rain on the afternoon of May 15, 2024, Vinh Tuy 2 Bridge was congested and flooded on the bridge surface, causing difficulties for traffic. "The implementation progress must be completed before May 20, 2024 and a written report on the handling results must be sent to the Department of Transport for monitoring and direction, and the handling results must be informed to the press agencies and the public," the document stated.
