With the theme "Health and Wellness", this year's program will run until June 2, focusing on comprehensive training sessions and hands-on activities for students to gain understanding and experience of projects that have a positive impact on society.

Attendees will interact with industry experts, learn about the concepts of physical and mental health, and gain essential project management skills.

In addition, students experienced visiting businesses in Ho Chi Minh City, providing them with the opportunity to explore outstanding initiatives related to physical and mental health in the region.

In particular, student groups will come up with project proposals to improve community health and well-being. Winning projects will receive up to $10,000 to turn their ideas into reality.

Mr. Cameron Thomas-Shah - Acting Foreign Attaché of the US Consulate - shared that more than 100 young representatives from different countries across Southeast Asia will share a commitment to becoming seeds that create positive changes for society.

“Each of you has your own background, culture and perspective, but you all share the same goal: to create positive change. In the spirit of giving back to your community, remember the powerful words of Martin Luther King Jr: Everyone can become great because everyone can serve,” said Cameron Thomas-Shah.

The value of community projects

Dr. Scott Fritzen, President of Fulbright University Vietnam, believes that through community projects, students can not only acquire knowledge and skills but also form a mindset about change: how to seek ideas, collaborate for positive changes...

In addition, according to him, students also know how to maintain and pursue their projects, because a journey to bring about change often takes a lot of time and contains many challenges.
