(Baothanhhoa.vn) - In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 5, on the afternoon of August 23 and the morning of August 24, the police force, border guards, and socio-political organizations of Sam Son ward urgently supported fishermen in bringing boats and rafts ashore and firmly reinforcing them to minimize damage.

As soon as the storm forecast was announced, local authorities directed the review, propaganda, and mobilization of fishermen to proactively implement preventive measures. Police, border guards, fire and rescue police on the river, women's union members, veterans, farmers, youth union members... directly went to the marinas and beaches to support fishermen in anchoring and pulling their boats ashore.
