11 groups participated in the 5th Elderly Singing Festival.

The Organizing Committee of the 5th Elderly Singing Festival presented flowers and commemorative flags to the participating teams.

This year's Elderly Singing Festival features the participation of over 250 elderly officials and members from 11 amateur art troupes of the elderly associations in districts, towns, and cities.

The participating teams brought to the festival musical and dance performances praising the Party, the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, and the fine traditions of the nation and the homeland.

The amateur art troupe of the Dien Bien District Senior Citizens Association performed immediately after the opening ceremony.

According to the leader of the Provincial Association of Elderly People's Representatives, the annual Elderly People's Singing Festival aims to create opportunities for elderly cultural and artistic clubs throughout the province to interact and learn from each other, gradually improving the quality of public art performances, expanding and preserving traditional cultural values, inspiring and maintaining the cultural identity of ethnic groups in the province; and contributing to the cause of national construction and defense.
