11 groups participated in the 5th Elderly Singing Festival

The Organizing Committee of the 5th Elderly Singing Festival presented flowers and souvenir flags to the participating teams.

This Elderly Singing Festival has the participation of more than 250 elderly officials and members from 11 mass art troupes of the elderly association of districts, towns and cities.

Participating teams brought to the festival singing, dancing and music performances praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho, praising the fine traditions of the nation and homeland.

The mass art troupe of the Elderly Association of Dien Bien district performed right after the opening ceremony.

The leader of the Provincial Elderly Association's Representative Board said that the organization of the annual elderly singing festival aims to create conditions for the elderly's cultural and artistic clubs in the whole province to exchange and learn from each other, gradually improve the quality and performance of mass art, expand and preserve traditional cultural values, evoke and preserve the cultural identity of ethnic groups in the province; contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
