The event was organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, the Embassy of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (UN Women), and the Business Forum Magazine, to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13) and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).
Among the 98 outstanding female entrepreneurs honored this year, Gia Lai has four representatives: Ms. Dong Thi Anh - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PISICO Corporation, President of the Binh Dinh Women Entrepreneurs Association; People's Physician Pham Thi Thanh Huong - General Director of Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Bidiphar); Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Lien - Director of Phuong Linh Construction Company Limited, Vice President of the Binh Dinh Women Entrepreneurs Association; and Ms. Cao Thi Kim Lan - Director of Binh Dinh Aquatic Products Joint Stock Company, Vice President of the Binh Dinh Women Entrepreneurs Association.

In particular, Ms. Dong Thi Anh is one of the top 10 outstanding female entrepreneurs nationwide, honored as one of the Top 10 "Golden Roses of Vietnam 2025" for her outstanding contributions in production, business, and social work.
With over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, import-export, and investment, she is a pioneer in the development of diversified private enterprises in the local area.
Under her leadership, PISICO not only made significant contributions to the provincial budget and created stable jobs for over 2,000 workers, but also had the honor of receiving the Second Class Independence Medal in 2022.
Ms. Ánh herself was awarded the Second Class Labor Medal in 2019 and is a dynamic businesswoman deeply committed to the local business movement.

The title of Outstanding Vietnamese Businesswoman - Golden Rose is not only a recognition of achievements but also affirms the courage, intelligence, and pioneering role of Vietnamese businesswomen in the sustainable development of the country.
The "Golden Rose" award program, initiated by VCCI in 2005, has been held 10 times to date. This activity contributes to affirming the role of female entrepreneurs in economic development, spreading humanitarian values and social responsibility; and simultaneously inspiring the younger generation of female entrepreneurs, promoting innovation and sustainable integration.

In the context of deep integration, Vietnamese women are increasingly asserting their role in political, economic, and social life.
Currently, businesses owned by women account for nearly 24% of all businesses nationwide, an impressive percentage in the ASEAN region.
Women make up over 63% of the workforce and are present in almost all sectors, from education and healthcare to science, technology, and innovation.
With 51% of Vietnamese businesses having women in their ownership structure, and the percentage of female National Assembly deputies in the 15th term reaching 30.26%—among the highest in the Asia-Pacific region—Vietnamese women are increasingly asserting their leadership capabilities, managerial skills, and aspirations to contribute.
