40 international and Vietnamese artists perform at the 2025 New Year Music Festival

The New Year's Eve festival - City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025 will bring together up to 40 international and Vietnamese artists to perform.

The City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025 New Year's celebration is a vibrant and multi-experience New Year's festival, the first of its kind in Ho Chi Minh City, combining culture, community, technology, and sustainability.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Giang, representing the organizing committee, stated that within the framework of City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025, there will be two main music nights: the opening night on December 28th and the New Year's Eve countdown on December 31st.

The two concerts will feature performances by 40 domestic and international artists. The organizers will announce the full list of artists in the near future.

In particular, the concert stage is large-scale, with a width of approximately 60 meters, and its design is inspired by a giant loudspeaker, spreading the music throughout. According to the organizers, this will be a world-class music stage, designed like a global music festival.

Notably, singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer JustaTee will serve as the Music Director throughout the festival. Known as one of the most versatile producers in the Vietnamese entertainment market, JustaTee not only understands many music genres but also grasps trends and innovates musical products. Recently, he has also been behind the success of two programs, Rap Viet and Anh trai say hi.

With City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025 , he revealed that he will bring a rich and vibrant musical journey, but also one deeply rooted in tradition.

Justatee took on the role of Music Director for the festival.

In addition, festival attendees can experience technology exhibition spaces and cashless activities.

This is considered an educational and creative art activity, with the expectation of attracting the participation of young artists to work with new means, experiment with their ideas, and resonate in the spirit of Tet, together imagining and feeling the atmosphere and scent of Tet through sound.

According to Nguyen Ky Phung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc City , City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025 is one of the activities commemorating the 4th anniversary of the establishment of Thu Duc City.

Throughout its four years of formation and development, Saigon Riverfront Park in Thu Duc City has been a favorite destination for domestic and international tourists, associated with large-scale music events.

"Saigon Riverside Park has successfully hosted many large-scale music events such as the Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival (Ho Do), the 'Brother Overcoming a Thousand Thorns' concert, and 'Brother Says Hi.' This New Year's Eve countdown concert for 2025 promises to be on a large scale. We expect to have around 20,000 or more attendees," Mr. Nguyen Ky Phung shared.

The leaders of Thu Duc City expect that City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025 will contribute to building Thu Duc City into an attractive tourist destination in particular, and Ho Chi Minh City in general.

The New Year's celebration - City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025 will take place from December 28, 2024 to January 1, 2025, at Saigon Riverfront Park, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
