5 luxury jets carrying billionaires 'landed' in Da Nang

Five private jets carrying the world's billionaires arrived in Da Nang to attend a conference of the luxury aircraft brand Gulfstream and to visit local tourist attractions.

Five Gulfstream aircraft, including the G600, G500, G650ER and two G700s, landed at Da Nang airport on October 15. Sun Air, Gulfstream's representative in Vietnam, said the aircraft carried 50 customers, including billionaires from around the world, and Gulfstream's operating partners, to Da Nang to attend the annual customer conference.

The conference lasted for three days and Gulfstream customers stayed at a 5-star resort on the Son Tra Peninsula. During this time, guests could visit some famous places in and near Da Nang such as Ba Na Hills, Hoi An ancient town.

Before the Gulfstream event, Da Nang was billionaire Bill Gates and his girlfriend chose as the destination for a four-day trip in March. The billionaire also arrived by private jet G650ER, stayed at a coastal resort and experienced Vietnamese culture with a enjoy tea on top of the Chessboard

According to a Gulfstream representative, Vietnam was chosen as the destination for this year's annual customer conference because of its beautiful landscape and convenient location so that the airline can invite and welcome potential customers from around the world.

Gulfstream is considered the leading name in the luxury aviation industry in the world. Many famous people own this airline's planes such as Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi. The private jet company is famous for its "unrivaled" flying speed, ensuring safety, efficiency and luxurious, comfortable interior design.

Among the planes that appeared in Da Nang, the G650ER is considered the fastest and longest flying private jet, able to fly around the Earth in one stop. The interior of the G650ER is for the super rich with functions such as a bed, kitchen, bar, bathroom, relaxing sofa with TV screen, living room of 5-6 star standard.

Meanwhile, the G700 is a private jet with the most spacious cabin, carrying up to 21 passengers, capable of improving health while flying with 100% fresh air renewed every 2-3 minutes and natural light from 20 largest windows in the business jet line.
