Today, March 4th, according to information from the Hanoi Department of Health , THL Pharmaceutical Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Tran Vu Street, Mai Dich Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi) was fined nearly 115 million VND for administrative violations including inadequate shelving and storage for raw materials; and for producing Yarmymilk Weightgain dietary supplement without complete information on the label (lacking the name, address of the manufacturer and the business responsible for the product) or incorrectly listing the required information (ingredients) as stipulated by law on product labeling.
The Hanoi Department of Health Inspectorate ordered the unit to recall the goods and label them correctly before re-distributing them; and ordered the recall and destruction of the infringing labels.
Inspectors from the Hanoi Department of Health have fined establishments for violations.
Furthermore, the Yarmymilk Weightgain dietary supplement (Manufactured 10.10.23; Expiry Date 10.10.25, packaging: 900 g/box) from the company, which is subject to self-declaration, has lipid content that does not meet the declared standards. Due to this violation, the Inspectorate of the Department of Health has ordered the facility to recall, change the intended use, recycle, or destroy this batch of products, and has suspended the production of dietary supplements for two months.
The Hanoi Department of Health also announced that Huyen Chi Ngoc Joint Stock Company (214 Nguyen Xien Street, Ha Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi) was fined over 190 million VND for four violations.
Specifically: the establishment advertising Hogi whole milk products on the website https://shop.huyenchingoc.com/ does not comply with one of the required documents (self-declaration dossier); trading goods (Yarmymilk Weightgain food supplement) with labels that do not contain all the required information (name, address of the manufacturer and the business responsible for the product) or incorrectly state the ingredients as required by law on product labeling.
This establishment also sells Yarmymilk Weightgain food supplements and Hogi whole milk products with labels containing images and text that misrepresent the nature and truth of the products; and sells and distributes Yarmymilk Weightgain food supplements (Manufactured 10.10.23; Expiry 1010.25, packaging 900 g/box) with lipid content that does not meet the published standards.
Inspectors from the Hanoi Department of Health have ordered the facility to remove images (FDA logo) and text that misrepresent the nature and truth of the product.
Both Ngoc Chau Pharmacy (Bo Hamlet, Huu Bang Commune) and Phung Thi Mai Dung Pharmacy (Hamlet 8, Thach Hoa Commune), located in Thach That District (Hanoi), were fined 2 million VND each for failing to report to the Hanoi Department of Health in cases of temporary suspension of operations for 6 months or more or complete cessation of operations.
Anh Quan 1 Pharmacy (No. 43 Trung Kinh Street, Trung Hoa Ward) and Hai Long Pharmacy (No. 54 Ha Yen Quyet Street, Yen Hoa Ward), both located in Cau Giay District, were fined 6 million VND each for violations including: mixing non-medicinal products with medicines in cases where they also sell cosmetics, functional foods, and medical equipment; and failing to maintain a ledger or use a computer to manage the import, export, storage, and tracking of batch numbers, expiration dates, origins of medicines, and other related information as required by law.
