Phuoc Luong village currently has a total natural area of 140.7 hectares, of which 80 hectares are used for two-crop rice cultivation, with 404 households and 1,448 inhabitants. There are approximately 30 production and business establishments in the village, including: tile production, laundry, rice milling, agricultural supplies trading, livestock farming, etc.; among them, one product (agarwood incense) has achieved OCOP certification with 3 stars. In addition, villagers cultivate rice on a total area of nearly 90 hectares; of which 80 hectares are used for two-crop rice cultivation with a yield of 6.8 tons/hectare/year. With efforts to overcome difficulties, in recent years, the economic and cultural lives of the villagers have gradually stabilized and developed. The percentage of poor and near-poor households in the village has decreased year by year; in 2024 alone, 3 households escaped near-poverty. To date, the village has only 4 poor households (1%) and 5 near-poor households (1.24%). The people have actively responded to the movement "All people build a civilized life and cultured family," with 98% of households in the village achieving the title of cultured family.

Speaking at the event, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh acknowledged and expressed his delight at the outstanding results in labor, production, improving living standards, and building the government and community of the people in the village and commune. He noted the contributions of the Phuoc Luong Village Front Committee and the local people in promoting and strongly upholding the precious tradition of national unity, diligence, and creativity in labor, production, and business; thereby effectively reducing poverty, building a cultural life in residential areas, and ensuring public order and security… Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh emphasized that Khanh Hoa is in a decade of upgrading and development. In particular, Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo has set the goal that by 2030, Khanh Hoa will become a centrally-governed city; its people will have a high standard of living, be peaceful and happy… To achieve this goal, the efforts of the entire political system and the people of the province are needed.

At the same time, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh urged the people to join hands in maintaining security and order in the villages and communes, so that they can always live peacefully. Along with that, they should always raise their vigilance, detect distorted narratives, and prevent calls and propaganda aimed at undermining national unity. They should also continuously upgrade basic infrastructure serving the lives and activities of the people, ensuring that roads are lined with flowers, houses are numbered, and the competence of officials is always improved…
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh also requested that the government, officials, and Party members in Dien Tho commune uphold their responsibility to serve the people, respect, listen to, and work together to resolve the legitimate aspirations and pressing issues of the people; continue to pay attention to policy beneficiary families and families with particularly difficult circumstances in the area; coordinate with departments and agencies to support people in switching to more efficient crops and livestock; and promote the application of digital transformation in production and business.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented 20 gifts to poor households in Dien Tho commune. Dien Khanh district presented 10 gifts to policy beneficiary families and near-poor households; Dien Tho commune also presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances.
