Businesses prioritize social responsibility.
On the evening of December 10th in Hanoi , within the framework of the annual meeting of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), the "AmCham Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2025" ceremony took place, honoring member businesses with outstanding corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities that contribute to the community and sustainable development in Vietnam.
The event was attended by Mr. Marc E. Knapper, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam; AmCham leaders; and representatives from many American businesses investing and operating in Vietnam.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Adam Sitkoff, CEO of AmCham, emphasized: " Previously, every decision made by businesses was primarily focused on economic results . However, today, businesses must simultaneously consider the ethical, moral, and social consequences that these decisions may have ."
It is clear that corporate social responsibility today is no longer measured by individual charitable contributions, but by the extent to which businesses proactively participate in practical activities aimed at improving the quality of life for Vietnamese people.
Commenting on the excellent CSR programs that AmCham members have implemented in Vietnam, Adam Sitkoff, CEO of AmCham, said: " Previously, executives viewed corporate social responsibility as a burden from the representative office. However, as customers, employees, and society increasingly value CSR, many leaders are now seeing it as a creative opportunity to strengthen their businesses while simultaneously contributing to Vietnam's development ."
According to Adam Sitkoff, CSR is no longer about individual donations but about genuine participation in improving the quality of life for Vietnamese people. As customers and society increasingly value sustainability, CSR becomes a "driver of innovation" that helps businesses strengthen their brands and contribute to Vietnam's development.
Making a practical contribution to sustainable development.
This year, with 38 businesses honored with the CSR Award, the recognition is not only for effective business models, but also for the humanitarian spirit in each activity that businesses spread to the community.
