An Giang trains in emergency flights at sea

On November 4, Air Force Regiment 917 (Division 370) organized training on hovering flights to rescue people over the sea of ​​Rach Gia ward, An Giang province.

From early morning, all preparations for the sea rescue flight were made. The equipment was checked one last time before take-off.

The flight crews and flight staff participating in this training practice are units with many good achievements, extensive experience and skills at the airport.

To successfully complete the training content, all officers and soldiers practicing flying focused on reviewing theory, actively practicing emergency hover flights at the airport, and coordinating training with flight crew members.

Taking place over two days, November 4 and 5, this flight training session helps officers and soldiers practice and improve their piloting skills, especially sea flying skills; and perform faster and more accurate calculations to determine the location of people needing emergency help, wind direction, and emergency hanging techniques at sea.

Along with that, knowing how to base on the capabilities of rescue equipment and the level of parachute staff to control the plane to approach the target, creating the most favorable conditions for rescuing people at sea.
