NDO - On the afternoon of May 26, at the 29th session, the 19th People's Council of Bac Ninh province passed a resolution approving the policy of support from the provincial budget to invest in the construction of the following universities: Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, Foreign Trade University and training facilities of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Bac Ninh province.

Accordingly, based on the ability to balance the provincial budget for the period 2026-2030 and legal regulations, the People's Council of Bac Ninh province determines the expected support level as follows:

Investment project to build the Hanoi Medical University campus in Bac Ninh with an expected capital support of 250 billion VND to make payments for the following items: Site clearance, site leveling, fence construction, technical infrastructure, etc.

Investment project to build and enhance the infrastructure of Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment in Bac Ninh - phase 1 with an expected support capital of 100 billion VND, to make payment for the items: Site clearance (area of ​​about 13.09ha)...

The total estimated support budget for the four universities is 720 billion VND, the actual specific value of the implementation of the items is determined in the investment policy and project approval decision. The capital source is balanced in the medium-term public investment plan of Bac Ninh province for the period 2026-2030 approved by competent authorities.

At the same time, proactively review and promptly adjust plans in accordance with the arrangement of administrative units at provincial and communal levels to plan and create new development dynamics and spaces.
