Customs Branch V currently manages customs in the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen with more than 7,000 enterprises participating in customs procedures. In the first 6 months of the year, Customs Branch V carried out customs clearance procedures for more than 1.3 million on-site declarations with a total import-export turnover of 99.91 billion USD.

The total import and export turnover in Bac Ninh province alone reached 78.73 billion USD. Of which, exports reached nearly 40 billion USD, ranking second in the country.
This result is due to the fact that recently, businesses in the province have accelerated production, expanded scale, sought new orders, and had favorable exports.
In the coming time, the Customs Branch of Region V will continue to maintain the implementation of the Law on Export and Import Tax, the Customs Law and guiding documents as well as customs policies, procedures, and import and export policies; proactively advise, analyze, and evaluate the state budget collection situation to have direction and management, and resolutely implement solutions to strive to complete the state budget collection task assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the Customs Department.
Grasp the situation, closely follow the production, business, export and import plans of enterprises with large revenues, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises.
