Today, in the midst of the bustling fruit season, at the Central Square of Chu Ward, we joyfully open the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025. This is not only a festival of sweet fruits and the joy of the golden season, but also the beginning of a new vision: Making agriculture a green pillar in the development strategy of Bac Ninh province.

The year 2025 is a special milestone when Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces merge, forming a new Bac Ninh with rich traditions and aspirations to rise up. The successful 1st Congress of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, has determined the strategy of developing ecological, high-tech, circular agriculture as the foundation, combining deep processing and traceability to create multi-layered, multi-value agriculture; at the same time, raising the level of the new rural program in an advanced and exemplary direction, aiming to bring a more prosperous life to the people.

Along with that, the two-level local government model has been put into operation effectively and efficiently, creating a more favorable environment for people, businesses and investors. In that context, the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival today has great significance, affirming a development vision, taking agriculture as a green pillar in the development strategy of the new Bac Ninh province.

Ladies and gentlemen, in today's joy, we have even more reason to be proud when the province's socio-economic picture in 2025 continues to thrive strongly. The economic scale reaches over 522 trillion VND, the growth rate of 10.27% is among the highest in the country. Total import-export turnover is estimated at 182 billion USD, continuing to lead the country and accounting for about 20% of the national turnover. State budget revenue is estimated at 72,497 billion VND, exceeding 30% of the estimate and increasing 40% compared to 2024. These impressive achievements clearly demonstrate the leadership capacity of the Party Committee, the flexible and effective management of the government, the responsible participation of the entire political system; at the same time, reflecting the increasing competitiveness of enterprises and the aspirations of each citizen in the province. That is the solid internal foundation for Bac Ninh to develop comprehensively in all fields, in which agriculture continues to affirm its important and sustainable role.

We are very proud that Bac Ninh agriculture today is transforming towards a more modern and green direction. The whole province has nearly 54,000 hectares of fruit trees, of which more than 8,600 hectares are citrus trees; the output reaches over 80,000 tons, worth about 1,800 billion VND. The area of ​​oranges meeting VietGAP standards is more than 1,700 hectares; the area of ​​grapefruit meeting VietGAP standards is more than 3,700 hectares. More than 780 OCOP products present on the market are vivid proof of the constant efforts of localities, businesses and farmers in enhancing the value of agricultural products in the province. And on each sweet fruit today, not only is there economic value, but also contains the pride and aspiration to change the lives of Kinh Bac farmers - hardworking, creative people, always pioneering in applying science and digital transformation in production, processing and consumption of agricultural products.

In that development, the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025 has become a prominent mark of an agriculture that is asserting its new position. The festival is organized on a large scale, designed in an open and experiential direction, helping visitors not only watch, but also "live" in the ripe fruit season. Nearly 200 booths gather typical products of growing regions, from fresh fruits, processed products to agricultural models applying technology. Livestream sales activities, connecting consumption through e-commerce platforms, and the companionship of content creators have helped Bac Ninh agricultural products step more strongly in the digital market, opening the door for each hometown product to enter the regional and world markets. The art space of fruit installation combined with the echoes of Quan Ho and Sinh Ca creates a feeling that is both familiar and new. Agricultural tours, garden experiences, agricultural processing demonstrations… open up a new approach: Agricultural products are not only for enjoyment, but also for discovering the culture, stories and values ​​behind each golden season.

The highlight of the 2025 Fruit Festival is the new approach: Harmoniously combining culture - tourism - technology to expand the market, increase product value and accompany farmers, businesses and cooperatives on the integration journey. This will be a festival of transformation, of innovation and of a firm belief in a modern, multi-value, green and sustainable agriculture.

These innovations not only create a vibrant atmosphere for the festival, but also open up a broader vision for the future of the province's agriculture. From the fruit hills in the ripening season, we see a strong rise in Bac Ninh agriculture. The new Bac Ninh will be a province with multiple development drivers, in which high-tech agriculture and multi-layered value agriculture will be the green pillars, contributing to preserving the landscape, identity and creating sustainable livelihoods for the people; a place where each fruit ripening season not only brings income, but also ignites the pride and desire for innovation of Kinh Bac farmers.
