Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command visits Hang Duong Cemetery

On the afternoon of July 19, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command (BĐBP) led by Colonel Tran Thanh Duc, Commander, offered incense and paid tribute at Hang Duong Cemetery (Con Dao Special Zone), on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

At the memorial, officers and soldiers offered incense and observed a moment of silence to express their gratitude to the heroic martyrs and patriotic compatriots who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

After the memorial service, the delegation went to light incense at the graves of the heroic martyrs and patriots resting in Hang Duong Cemetery.

On the same day, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Con Dao Special Zone. During the meeting, Colonel Tran Thanh Duc expressed his pleasure at the socio-economic development and national defense and security achievements of the locality; and emphasized the strategic position of Con Dao in the task of protecting territorial sovereignty and maritime border security.

The Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command affirmed that it will continue to closely coordinate with the Party Committee and the government of Con Dao in carrying out the task of maintaining security and order in the area.
