Inspired by a historically significant location, arguably the cradle of the modern-day People's Public Security Force, the program's title, "Epic from the Roots," aims to highlight the historical values ​​from the revolutionary base during the resistance against the French to the generations of police officers and soldiers who dedicated and sacrificed themselves for independence, freedom, unity, and the preservation of peace today. This is an important event to express gratitude and honor those immense contributions.

"Keeping the Oath" is an annual live television program organized by VTV8 in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security . This year, the program, themed "A Heroic Epic from the Roots," was held at this historical site to highlight the work and struggles of generations of police officers and soldiers during the resistance war against the French, as well as their contributions and sacrifices for independence, freedom, unity, and the preservation of peace and security today.

With the theme "Epic from the Roots," the program will feature spectacular artistic performances with the participation of actors from the People's Public Security art troupes and other musical groups. Beginning with "Hello Vietnam," it will continue with songs such as "Colors," "Improvisation on the Red River," "Inh La Oi," "The Piêu Scarf," "Jade in the Fire," and especially the musical "Akapera - The Revolutionary Path." This program is not only a cultural and artistic event but also aims to educate officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security about revolutionary traditions and gratitude towards those who contributed to the revolution.
