At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of Lao Cai Electricity Company, gave an overview of the production and business situation in the first 5 months of the year and the goals and tasks for the last 6 months of the year of the unit.

Accordingly, in the first 5 months of the year, in the context of continued economic recovery, Lao Cai Electricity Company (PC Lao Cai) has ensured safe and stable electricity supply, serving socio-economic development and meeting people's living needs.

Cumulative commercial electricity output in the first 5 months of the year was over 1.2 billion kWh (up 18.2% over the same period), reaching 43.8% of the assigned plan. Electricity revenue reached over VND 2,085 billion; the rate of customers paying without cash reached 80.43%; the electricity loss rate was 2.27% (down 0.44% over the same period in 2023).

In the last months of the year, Lao Cai Electricity Company continues to strive to supply safe electricity, meeting the socio-economic development requirements of Lao Cai province; successfully completing production and business plan targets; improving efficiency, increasing labor productivity, increasing average income for workers; maintaining and strengthening labor safety, ensuring safety of people and equipment, increasingly improving the quality of electricity services in accordance with the objectives of the industry and the Northern Power Corporation.
