At the launching ceremony, Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Chairman of the Trade Union of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Lai Ba Ha, stated that, with the spirit of " Hanoi for the whole country, together with the whole country," the Hanoi Moi Newspaper's Charitable Heart Fund calls on officials, civil servants, employees, armed forces personnel, all strata of the people, agencies, units, organizations, businesses nationwide, philanthropists, and Vietnamese people abroad to uphold the tradition of "mutual support" and "helping those in need," with the spirit of "sharing food and clothing," to join hands in sharing and supporting the people in the areas affected by storms and floods.

The practical material and spiritual assistance from agencies, units, businesses and philanthropists will certainly contribute to helping people in flood-affected areas in Hanoi and the northern provinces ease their pain and loss, overcome difficulties, restore production and quickly return to normal life.
Responding to the call, all staff, reporters, editors, and employees of Hanoi Moi Newspaper donated one day's salary each, totaling nearly 80 million VND; Vinamilk Company donated 100,000 Vinamilk products (equivalent to 500 million VND); and Acecook Vietnam Company donated 200 boxes of Hao Hao instant noodles to the people affected by Typhoon No. 3.
