Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. on November 30, Mr. KC (born in 2004); RCS and RCA (living in the same village of Klăh Băng) caught a toad to get its eggs to steam and eat.
About 30 minutes after eating, KC and RCS showed symptoms of headache, vomiting, difficulty breathing, and jaundice.
Afterwards, both were taken to Gia Lai General Hospital by their families for emergency treatment. However, KC died on the way to the emergency room, and RCS is currently receiving treatment.
RCA only tasted a few toad eggs so only had mild symptoms and self-induced vomiting without going to the hospital.
