At the live opening ceremony held at the National Convention Center this morning, Kieu Tuan Dinh, a fourth-year student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, represented the students and delivered a speech.

Expressing his deep emotion, pride, and boundless gratitude, Kieu Tuan Dinh stated that over the years, countless generations have sacrificed their lives and blood so that he and many other young people can be here today.

Those 80 years are an epic poem written with sweat, blood, and bones, so that today you can celebrate the opening ceremony of the school year in peace .

In his speech, the student also mentioned technology, AI, etc., as the foundation of the future, and that the government is focusing on developing industries such as semiconductors and AI.

The male student expressed his desire to become wealthy—wealth so he could live well, wealth so he could contribute to the nation, and wealth so he could help those in need throughout the country.

This male student affirmed that the intellectual prowess of the Vietnamese people shines not only during wartime and poverty alleviation but also in the era of business, mastering technology and high-tech skills to serve human life.

“By 2025, the Party and the State aim to become a high-income developed country. At that time, the main workforce will be the younger generation. Therefore, they should strive to choose a suitable future for themselves and train to contribute to the country,” Tuan Dinh said.

Sharing his aspirations for the younger generation, the male student said that they want to start their own businesses early, develop science and technology enterprises, and that Vietnam wants to have large enterprises that can compete with the world's leading nations.

It is known that Kieu Tuan Dinh is currently a 4th-year student in the Electronics Department, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Upon learning that he would be representing students nationwide at this morning's special opening ceremony, Dinh was very nervous and had trouble sleeping. "Yesterday, all the students participating in today's event had to stay in the dormitory. At 5:30 this morning, the school's car took us to the National Convention Center," the male student said.

Tuan Dinh was born in Thai Nguyen. He was admitted to Hanoi University of Science and Technology based on his aptitude test results.

In 11th grade, I won third prize in the provincial-level physics competition for gifted students. At Hanoi University of Science and Technology, I received scholarships from the university in 2023 and 2024; first prize in the Denso Factory Hacks 2023 competition, along with certificates of merit for my activities in student unions and associations from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

During his three years of study at the Polytechnic University, Dinh consistently achieved an excellent GPA (3.4-3.7/4.0).

Sharing her study secrets, Dinh said that she always cherishes the moments spent studying with her teachers. She always remembers the lectures in class, discusses anything she doesn't understand directly with the lecturer, and values ​​the moments of communication with her teachers.

Besides studying, Dinh is passionate about football and badminton. Every week, he spends 1-2 sessions playing football and forms a badminton group.

Participating in student union activities at school has helped him become more confident and proactive. The male student said his dream after graduation is to become a lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology or to study abroad. "If I'm lucky enough to study abroad, after returning, I plan to both teach and conduct scientific research or start a business," Tuan Dinh said.
