This morning, August 17th, in Dong Ha City, the Quang Tri Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Vietnam Badminton Federation, held the closing ceremony of the 2024 National Individual Badminton Championship, sponsored by Yonex-Sunrise.

The tournament took place from August 12-17, 2024 at the Quang Tri Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, bringing together nearly 150 male and female athletes from 18 provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide; competing in 5 categories: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.

After six days of exciting and captivating competition, the tournament has officially concluded with many impressive achievements, most notably in terms of professional quality.
Top athletes nationwide such as Nguyen Thuy Linh, Le Duc Phat, Nguyen Hai Dang, Nguyen Tien Minh, Pham Van Hai, Than Van Anh, Do Tuan Duc, Pham Hong Nam... always compete with all their might, creating many exciting and emotionally charged matches at the national level.
The tournament attracted a large number of people from within and outside the province to watch and cheer on the athletes. The referees performed their duties well, making a significant contribution to the success of the tournament. Security, medical services, etc., were also ensured.

In the men's singles event, gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded, along with cash prizes and gifts, to the following athletes: Nguyen Hai Dang (Ho Chi Minh City), Le Duc Phat (Army), Nguyen Tien Minh, and Nguyen Thien Loc (Ho Chi Minh City).
In the men's doubles event, gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded, along with cash prizes and gifts, to the following pairs of athletes: Do Tuan Duc – Pham Hong Nam (Hanoi), Luong Tuan Huy – Nguyen Xuan Manh (Hanoi), Nguyen Dinh Hoang – Tran Dinh Manh (Lam Dong), and Nguyen Chi Duc – Le Van Tu (Hanoi).
In the women's doubles event, gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded, along with cash prizes and gifts, to the following pairs of athletes: Bui Bich Phuong – Vu Thi Chinh (Hanoi), Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan – Nguyen Thuy Kim Hang (Ho Chi Minh City), Nguyen Thi Thuy Cai – Vu Thi Hoa (Bac Giang), and Pham Thi Dieu Ly – Pham Thi Khanh (Thai Binh).
In the mixed doubles event, gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded, along with cash prizes and gifts, to the following pairs of athletes: Pham Van Hai – Than Van Anh (Bac Giang), Tran Dinh Manh – Luong Nguyen Khanh Ngoc (Lam Dong), Nguyen Danh Tien – Vu Thi Chinh (Hanoi), and Pham Van Truong – Bui Bich Phuong (Hanoi).
