The tournament is organized by DonexGroup Joint Stock Company in collaboration with the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports , the Vietnam Badminton Federation, and the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City.

This is an annual tournament, part of the official national badminton competition system, aimed at providing a platform for young players to improve their techniques and gain competitive experience.
Through this process, promising talents are discovered and selected for the national youth team.
In the finals, the matches were exciting and of high professional quality, showing clear progress from the young players.
The tournament brought together over 650 athletes from 40 provinces, cities, and sectors, competing in 5 events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles, across 5 age groups from 9 to 17 years old.
This year, the tournament took place across eight consecutive venues with over 800 matches. The competition was highly competitive but still ensured fairness and professionalism.
In particular, the professional quality in the quarter-finals and finals improved significantly, not only in the older age groups but also in the U9 and U11 age groups, who delivered impressive performances that surprised the audience.

According to the organizers and experts, the quality of athletes this year has made remarkable progress.
The young players showed a clear improvement in speed, tactical thinking, and especially their competitive spirit compared to previous seasons. In the younger age group, spectators witnessed many refined, confident, and skillful plays, something rarely seen at this age.
Notably, several athletes in the U13 and U15 age groups have shown outstanding potential, promising to become promising talents for Vietnamese badminton in the future.
This result not only reflects the effectiveness of youth training at the local level, but also affirms the important role of the tournament in discovering and selecting talents for the national youth team.
Concluding this year's season, the Ho Chi Minh City team continued to affirm its leading position by winning a total of 5 gold medals, spread across age groups and events: U11 boys' singles, U11 boys' doubles, U15 boys' singles, U15 boys' doubles, and U17 boys' doubles.
With its large pool of athletes, consistent performance, and well-structured training system, Ho Chi Minh City continues to play a leading role in the development of youth badminton nationwide.
Nevertheless, the highlight of this year's competition was the impressive breakthrough of the Thai Binh team.
With 4 gold medals won in the following events: U13 girls' singles, U13 girls' doubles, U17 girls' singles, and U17 girls' doubles, Thai Binh surpassed many strong teams such as Lam Dong and Bac Giang to rise to the runner-up position overall.
This result not only reflects the remarkable progress in training young athletes, but also opens up positive prospects for a promising generation of female tennis players from the northern region.
Bac Giang, a familiar name in youth tournaments, also made its mark with 3 gold medals in the following events: U13 boys' singles, U13 boys' doubles, and U13 mixed doubles.
This achievement further demonstrates the stability and effectiveness of the local government's strategy of investing in the next generation of talent, which it has consistently pursued in recent years.

Overall, this year's competition saw a relatively even distribution of medals among the participating teams, no longer absolutely concentrated in a few localities as in previous seasons.
This has created a vibrant and healthy competitive atmosphere, where each medal is the result of persistent effort and proper training.
In particular, the strong rise of Thai Binh and the stability of Bac Giang are clear evidence of the trend of balanced, systematic, and in-depth investment in youth training in many localities.
This is also a factor contributing to raising the overall level of Vietnamese junior badminton, aiming towards a more talented and evenly matched generation of athletes in the future.
As the main sponsor, DonexGroup has been a constant partner throughout the season, making a significant contribution to the organization and creating a well-structured, professional, and systematic tournament.
The closing ceremony not only marked the end of a successful season but also signaled the maturation of hundreds of young athletes.
The 2025 National Youth Badminton Championships – DONEX Tournament – has successfully fulfilled its mission: to inspire, discover talent, and most importantly, to create a meaningful and beneficial playground for the future generation of Vietnamese badminton.
