The Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee inspects the progress of the 300 billion VND hospital project.
On the afternoon of October 18th, the Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, Vu Dai Thang, inspected the progress of the Northern Quang Binh Regional General Hospital (Facility 2) project in Ba Don town.
The Northern Quang Binh Regional General Hospital (Branch 2) is being built in Tho Don residential area, Quang Tho ward, Ba Don town. The project has a technical infrastructure capacity to accommodate 1,000 beds and 500 inpatient beds with modern facilities.
The project's investment aims to ensure adequate facilities for medical examination, treatment, and healthcare for people in the northern part of Quang Binh province and the southern part of Ha Tinh province, while also reducing the burden on tertiary hospitals.
The project covers a land area of 6.5 hectares, with a scale of 5 floors, including construction items such as a general examination block, outpatient treatment and technical services block, inpatient treatment block, administrative block, infectious diseases department, morgue, parking garage, auxiliary facilities and technical infrastructure.

The project, invested by the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Health, has a total investment of over 300 billion VND, sourced from the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 managed by Quang Binh province. Construction began in January 2024 and is expected to be completed in December 2025.
During the inspection, according to the project management team's report, the construction unit is currently focusing on completing the main building and technical infrastructure items, and is committed to exceeding the set schedule.
During the inspection, Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang also visited and presented gifts to encourage the workers currently working at the construction site.
The Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Ba Don town, the investor, and the construction unit in implementing the project on schedule.
Based on that, Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang requested the construction unit to continue its efforts and coordinate effectively with the local authorities to complete the project's components, ensuring quality and safety. At the same time, he urged them to accelerate progress and bring the project into operation as soon as possible, serving the healthcare needs of the people in the area.
