Son La Provincial Party Secretary appointed to hold the position of Military Party Secretary

On the morning of December 5, at the Son La Provincial Military Command, the Son La Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on appointing comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to hold the position of Secretary of the Son La Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending the conference were comrade Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and comrades in the Provincial Military Party Committee, leaders of departments and branches of the province.

Accordingly, in Decision No. 05-QD/TU, dated October 17, 2025, the Standing Committee of Son La Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Son La province, term 2025-2030.

Presenting the decision and congratulating comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, comrade Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized that with his qualities, abilities and experiences gained through many working positions, comrade Hoang Van Nghiem will lead and direct the Provincial Military Party Committee to continue promoting the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, excellently completing assigned tasks, contributing significantly to the leadership and direction of the local Party Committee and authorities in performing well the tasks of national defense and local military in particular, building the national defense potential and socio-economic development of the province in general.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Hoang Van Nghiem thanked the Standing Committee of Son La Provincial Party Committee for entrusting him with the task of Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, he affirmed that he will, together with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee, promote the collective intelligence, solidarity and unanimity of all cadres, party members and soldiers of the provincial armed forces, determined to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem hopes that comrades in the Provincial Military Party Committee will continue to pay attention to leading the provincial armed forces to uphold the tradition of heroic forces and perform well the local defense and military tasks in the province in the coming time.
